Small Folk Art Tin Rooster
American, late 19th century
4 ¾ inches high

Small in scale but not in personality, this full-bodied tin rooster stands proudly on his green-painted base. A simple bit of American folk art, made with just enough detail to capture the attitude of the real thing. He may be only 4¾ inches high, but nobody seems to have told him.
